Commission Process

I made this small chart for new clients to familiarize themselves with the way I work. I've been using this method since 2020 to ensure the trust and safety of both the client and me, the artist.
If you'd like a more detailed explanation or aren't sure about a certain step, please let me know and I'll do my best to explain further.
Note: This is better viewed in a pc.

1. After the full or agreed-upon portion of the payment has been sent, I will deliver the sketch of your commission request. Along with a brief description detailing elements I might have chosen for the drawing (unless the client had a specific idea already planned for the commission)
This is usually done in the range of 3 days.

2. If the sketch has been approved, the next update will be colored.
If the design of the character was already pre-made, I might start adding shadows to establish the tone of the drawing. If not, this a good moment for the client to figure out the color palette of their character.

3. Next updates will be sent regularly to show off progress.
Client can choose not to be sent these and wait upon completition.
I suggest getting updates to prevent extra charges for fixes that could have been made in previous stages.
I'll let the client know when I'm close to finishing the drawing.
I ask for the last portion of the payment at this stage. The finished drawing won't be delivered unless the payment plan has been completed.

4. Finished drawing will be sent with low resolution (this is due to platforms' automatic compressing of images and discord's size limit) along with a drive link that allows access to the full drawing in HD, without any watermarks for the client to give a final review. The client can also opt to be delivered the .png file via email.

Payment:

The commission order will not be started until I receive the full or partial payment. If choosing to pay in half, the remaining 50% must be paid after the colored sketch is approved.
Payment is done through Paypal or Bank transfer in usd (or ars for Argentina; 1usd=1300ars)
A full refund is only possible if the commission has not been started or if I cannot finish it. If the commission is in progress when you request a cancellation, you will receive a partial refund based on how much work was done.
I don't accept refunds if the art is completed.

Workflow:

You'll have full access to the wip piece and you can ask for updates whenever you want, however, I suggest waiting around 3 days to see considerable progress. If not asked, I will send updates in an accorded period. (usually, I take 2-5 days per update.)
You can request free revisions if your initial instructions were detailed and you're unhappy with my interpretation. However, if your instructions are vague (short descriptions, no images for references stabilizing the character's look/feel, or leaving the design "up to me"), no revisions are allowed for free. I'll let you know if your instructions are too vague for revisions; otherwise, it can be assumed they're sufficient.
Commissions are usually done within the range of 1-3 weeks.
Adding "i love dragons" along with the detailing of your request or in the extras section of the google form grants you a 10 percent discount off any art order of 70usd or more.
Once satisfied with the finished product, you will receive an HD version without my watermark via google drive.

General:

I own all the rights to any artwork I produce unless an agreement is reached and the rights are paid for.
Editing the art is not permitted without my agreement beforehand. You are allowed to crop or resize for social media, and use it for personal purposes only, this includes printing as posters or using the art for a keychain.

The client is NOT allowed to:

Modify or paint over the artwork themselves or a third party.
Sell or redistribute the artwork.
Use the artwork commercially without my permission.

I don't draw

Full mecha or anything that deviates too far from human/animal features. Ask if you are unsure.
Discriminating and/or hateful themes towards race, sexuality, etc
Drawings where the character is not the focal point.
